摘　　要：如今的泰安市新泰市西张庄镇,总给人留下＂小而精致＂的印象。洁净宽阔的道路,漂亮整齐的楼房,功能完善的文化广场,都不输那些功能齐备的大城市。镇上的居民多以纺织服装、食品、机械制造等制造业为生,在＂特色小镇＂概念的引领下,这个总面积只有47平方公里的小镇,以自身擅长的毛纺织业为依托,渐渐发展为名传江北的＂多彩毛呢小镇＂。West Zhangzhuang Town,Xintai,Taian has always left a 'small and delicate' impression on people.Under the direction of the concept of 'characteristic town',this town,with an area of only 47 square kilometers,has gradually developed and become the 'Colorful Wool Town' being well known in North China on the basis of its advantages in the wool textile industry.West Zhangzhuang Town has decisively closed down outdated production facilities and promoted industrial structure to make a total change from an ordinary textile base to a 'Colorful Wool Town' with the combination of production,exhibition,sale and characteristic couture of woolen clothing.So far,it has 23 wool textile enterprises above state designated scale with a production value up to 2.5billion yuan,covering the employment of more than 7,000 people.Its products have been sold widely in 20 countries and regions including Japan,Korea,Russia,and Ukraine.It has become the leading brand of woolen clothing in North China.With the plan and development of a characteristic town,the characteristic of wool has in reality come into combination with the town,and the wool industry in the past has now woven the 'Colorful Town',and will weave a better urban life for residents here in the foreseeable future.
