摘  要:语言和文化之间存在着十分紧密的关系,这也决定了语言的学习离不开文化因素的渗入。跨文化交际是外语学习的重点和核心,而传统的单纯以课本语法、语音、词汇等语言要素为重心的英语教学将无法实现提高学生语言应用能力这一目标。这就要求在高职高专公共英语课堂中建立一种旨在培养学生语言文化意识的教学模式。There is a close relationship between language and culture, which means that language-learning cannot go on without cultural factors. Culture based on a certain language is the key point of foreign languagelearning, but it is clear that the traditional approach which just focuses on the linguistic elements, like grammar,phonetics and words cannot help the teachers achieve the goal of teaching. So it is necessary for teachers to explore for a new teaching mode that is based on the cultivation of students' realization of culture.
