摘　　要：本文对转述言语在汉英报纸不同体裁中的使用情况进行对比分析,探究其使用的不同特点及深层原因,以期提高我国的对外传播效果,同时对英汉报刊的阅读、写作和教学发挥启示作用。研究发现,汉英报纸新闻均以间接转述为主,但在具体转述形式的选用上存在体裁差异。This paper investigates different genres in speech reporting of Chinese and English newspaper texts in order to explore the similarities,differences and the reasons behind them,in the hope of improving the international communication and also helping reading,writing and teaching of English and Chinese newspapers. The research result shows that indirect reporting is the main way of speech reporting both in Chinese and English newspapers,but there are some significant differences in genres when it comes to the use of specific reporting forms.
