摘 要:《呼唤》中男主人公亚历山大是考琳·麦卡洛塑造的理想化人物,他的复杂性格跟他童年遭受的心理创伤有着密切的联系。文章运用"创伤叙事理论"观深入地剖析了亚历山大遭受创伤摧残后的扭曲行为和悲剧命运。本文围绕亚历山大畸形的变态思维模式和行为模式及其悔悟的结局,分析亚历山大在成长过程中经历的种种创伤,试图揭示其悲剧的社会时代根源,认为亚历山大经历的创伤是澳大利亚扭曲多变的父权制专制社会的缩影——这也是小说《呼唤》所揭示的主题。Alexander,the hero in The Touch,is an idealized images shaped by Colleen McCullough in the novel.His complicated character is closely linked with his psychological trauma in his childhood.The paper tries to use trauma's theory to analyze the root of Alexander's distorted mind and tragic fate after a series of trauma.It emphatically focuses on the mode of Alexander's deformed thinking 、abnormal behavior and his repent behavior,and tries to analyze his various trauma during the process of his growth,and tries to disclose the social root of his tragedy,and hold that Alexander's trauma is a microcosm of the distorting、changeable and patriarchal society in Australia-it is also the theme of The Touch.
