摘　　要："高等教育产业化"论是在企图解释中国高等教育办学体制改革和扩招政策的过程中形成的,事实上是对国家教育政策的误读,背离了对教育公益性特征的基本认识,在学术和政治上具有较大的危害,在实践中也产生了一定的负面影响,需要从政策本真意义上和实践效果上进行系统批判,以确保理论善的品质,使理论创新造福人类与国家、民族,这是学者应有的学术品质与职业责任。'Higher Education Commercialization( HEC) 'has been a fairly recent trend in China against the backdrop of higher education massification. However,HEC is a misinterpretation of our national educational policies and a misunderstanding of the noncommercial nature of public education. We need to be fully aware of the negative impacts brought by both the theory and practice of HEC in China,and at the same time,uphold and maintain academic integrity and accountability so as to avoid the pitfall and perils of such an attractive but misleading theory.
