Objective: To Probe into application effect of multiple participation and bidirectional checking method in course of pediatric intravenous administration. Methods:A total of 2 502 cases of hospitalized children from January 2015 to December 2015 were selected as observation group, and multiple participation and bidirectional checking method was used in course of intravenous administration. A total of 2 418 cases of hospitalized children from December 2014 to January 2014 were selected as control group, and traditional checking method was used in course of intravenous administration. Parents~ satisfaction and the incidence of intravenous medication errors between both groups were compared. Results: The parents' satisfaction in observation group was 99%, higher than that in control group(94.95 %), there was statistically significant difference(P〈0. 05). The incidence of intravenous medication errors in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group, there was statistically significant difference(P〈0.05). Conclusion: Multiple participation and bidirectional checking method in course of pediatric intravenous administration could improve parents' satisfaction and reduce incidence of intravenous medication errors, and it was helpful to imorove the nursing safety.
