摘　　要：自发、草根、多样是民间图书馆的基本特性。与政府主办的基层图书馆相比较,民间图书馆的空间形态、资源形态、服务形态显得更为丰富,其新功能主要体现在社区公共文化空间再造与服务功能从"一元"走向"多元"。未来民间图书馆仍应走"民办官助"的道路,以"微整形""跨界组合"的方式继续拓展新形态与新功能,同时注重运用新技术提升自身发展的质量。The main characteristic of non-government funded libraries is spontaneous, grassroots and diverse. Contrasted to the primary-level libraries sponsored by the government, they are more multiple in space, resources and service. The new functions of non-government funded libraries lie in the reconstruction of public cultural space and the pluralism of service. As for the future development, non-government funded libraries should follow the path of ＂civilian-run and government-subsidy＂ . New forms and functions can be expanded by means of minor adjustment and transboundary combination. At the same time, service quality could be improved by paying attention to the usage of new technology.
