Objective To investigate the value of the personalized needs of half feeding on preterm newborns. Methods According to the random number table method, 94 newborn were divided into semi-demand feeding personalization group and the control group. The clinical indicators, gastrin, motilin, total bilirubin, albumin levels and gastrointestinal function and feeding tolerance were observed. Results The premature infants to regain birth time body mass, tire will exhaust all the time and nutrition feeding time of observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group. 14d weight gain and 14d head circumference growth rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P〈0.05). The gastrin, motilin and albumin of observation group were was significantly higher than that of the control group, total bilirubin was significantly lower than that of control group (P〈0.05). The vomiting, abdominal distension, gastric retention, gastric dysfunction and feeding intolerance rate in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P〈0.05). Conclusion Personalized half demand feeding for premature neonates can significantly improve gastrointestinal function, gastrin, motilin secretion, accelerate neonatal growth and development.
