摘　　要：《越谚》是清末范寅编撰的一本绍兴方言集,分《语言》《名物》《音义》三卷及附论。《越谚》成书距今一百多年,其中很多方言歌谣至今仍在绍兴地区流传,但随着生活方式的变化,部分俗语已很少为人所知;或口耳相传却不知得名之由,如"先生""嫪伻""澿浸""鏖懆"。从这些词中也能一窥一个世纪前绍兴的风土人情。Yueyan,a vernacular book compiled by Fan Yin,is composed of three volumes of Borderism,Objects,Phonetics and one appendix. It is more than 100 years since Yueyan was finished,but many of its dialectal expressions and ballads are still in use in Shaoxing. However,with the change in the mode of life,there are substantial idioms whose origins are rarely known by the local people,such as ＂Xiansheng＂,＂Laobeng＂,＂Jinqin＂and ＂Aocao＂. These words may lead to a glance into the local customs and practices of Shaoxing.
