摘  要:民国后期揭阳榕城的餐饮机构借助城市报刊传媒发布餐饮服务信息,广告数量众多,内容丰富,透射出城市生活的多样性,展现了现代化旗帜下的国家文化不断对近现代城市产生影响的变迁进程。这一变迁进程集中体现在餐饮机构成为揭阳城市的新景观、中西餐饮文化的交流和餐饮机构作为城市公共空间的存在。The catering organizations of Rongcheng Jieyang released the information about food and beverages through the media of newspapers and periodicals in the late period of the Republic of China. These advertise-ments, large in quantity and rich in contents, reflected the diversity of urban life and displayed the process that national culture changed modern cities under the banner of modernism. Major changes were that catering businesses became a new landscape in Jieyang, that Chinese and Western cuisines interacted with each other in the region, and that restaurants served as a public space in city life.
