摘　　要：葛藤是一种多年生藤本植物,属于豆科蝶形花亚科葛藤属,主要分布在热带和亚热带地区,因其生长速度快,且茎叶富含蛋白质,是极具价值的家畜和禽类的饲料来源。但与美国和日本相比,我国葛藤作为饲料的价值尚未得到足够的重视。本文将对葛藤作为饲料的价值优势和葛藤饲料化的现状等进行综述,以期为通过发展葛藤饲料化解决我国南方蛋白质饲料短缺的现状提供启发。Pueraria lobate （Wild.）Ohwi,a member of the leguminosae family commonly known as kudzu ,which is perennial herbaceous vines plants.It mainly distributed in tropical and subtropical zones.Due to its fast growth and rich in protein,so it is considered as an excellent protein forage resource for livestock and poultry.Nonetheless,the value of kudzu as feed has not received enough attention in China compared with the United States and Japan.Here,the advantages and status quo of kudzu feed were reviewed,in order to open mind of solving the shortage of plant protein feed in southern Chi-na through the industry development of kudzu feed.
