摘　　要：从1957年起印尼不断扩大的排华事件,不仅暴露出印尼国内不同政治力量对待华侨问题的真实态度以及将华侨问题作为政治角逐和妥协手段的策略,而且也反映出住在国不合理地处理华侨问题会对国际关系特别是对华关系产生深刻影响。排华事件不仅引发了两国矛盾,而且也引起印尼国内政治震荡。但中国在多方救侨及对印尼强力交涉的基础上,仍从地区冷战形势和中国周边外交战略的大局出发,维护了与印尼的外交关系。而印尼总统苏加诺也清楚地认识到,对华关系在印尼平息叛乱、收复西伊里安、推动国内经济发展以及维持印尼政治势力平衡方面具有多重意义,由此也逐步停止排华,并推动两国关系回归友好。两国间的战略需要是印尼排华事件发生后两国关系由波动重新走向稳定的根本原因。Indonesian anti-Chinese event continuously growing since 1957 not only exposed real attitudes towards overseas Chinese problems by the different domestic political forces of Indonesian and the Indonesian strategy of regarding overseas Chinese problem as a way of political contest and compromise, but also refl ected the unreasonably ways of dealing with overseas Chinese living in countries would have profound effect on international relations especially their relations with China. Indonesian anti-Chinese event not only caused contradiction between the two countries, but also caused the Indonesian domestic political turmoil. On the basis of China's saving overseas Chinese in many ways and powerful negotiations China maintained diplomatic relations with Indonesia from the situation of the Cold War and the Chinese diplomatic strategy with neighbouring countries. Sukarno, Indonesian President, also clearly realised that relations with China had multiple meanings in putting down the insurgency, recovering the west Irian, promoting domestic economic development andmaintaining the balance of Indonesian political powers, gradually stopped anti-Chinese event and promoted to return to the friendly relations between the two countries. Strategic needs between the two countries are the root cause for the two countries' relations from volatility to stability after Indonesian anti-Chinese event.
