摘 要:商业广告的性质是以盈利为目的,也就决定了它所使用的语言特点需要具有一定的经济价值。本文主要分析广告商利用英语语言资源的各种形式,实现语言资源本身的经济价值最大化。同时,这些语言资源把广告商的理念和企业或公司的产品、劳务的特性、功能、用途等信息传递给消费者,并激发他们购买商品,从而获取语言信息的经济价值。Commercial advertising can be seen everywhere in people's daily life, we can see it all the time. It aims at profiting, which de- cides its language feature with economic value, and makes sellers benefit from it. Commercial advertising language not only can reflect the whole language system, but also can reflect people' thinking way. Advertising is one of important forms of information communication, while language is the main tool to communicate for people. Although advertisers can promote commodities by all kinds of ways, language plays a vital role in advertising. This paper mainly analyzes that advertisers take language as a tool and use different forms of language re- sources to maximize their economic value. Meanwhile, advertisers' conception and the feature of products or service are conveyed to con- sumers through language resources, making consumers pay attention to their products, and stimulating them to buy products so that they can obtain the economic value of language information.
