摘　　要：Y染色体是男性特有的染色体,可用于判定父系遗传。以Y染色体遗传规律为基础,公安机关已建立了Y-STR家系种类排查方法,用以划定侦查范围、确定犯罪嫌疑人所在的家系。一般而言,Y-STR家系排查主要应用于封闭区域,具有良好的甄别作用,可有效提高办案效率,在开放性地域中应用作用有限。本文报道了一起发生在江苏省苏州市某地的恶性杀人案件,该案件的侦破中应用Y-STR技术确定犯罪嫌疑人籍贯,缩小侦查范围并最终破案,为建立一种Y-STR应用新模式提供了启示。Y chromosome, male specific, are often used to determine the paternal inheritance. Based on the genetic law of Y chromosome, a method for investigation of Y-STR pedigree has been being established by the Chinese police departments, in assistance to narrow the scope of investigation and determine the family the suspect belongs to. Generally, this kind of method can only be used in enclosed areas, not adequate for open areas, yet be effectively capable of improving the work efficiency. Here, a case was reported that the Y-STR test was used in a new way in a vicious murder case in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, where the Y-STR found the birthplace of the suspect, thereby narrowing the scope of investigation and finally getting the case solved. The way that Y-STR was used here inspired us of a new model of Y-STR application.
