摘　　要：篾儿乞部是蒙古帝国时代活跃在内亚草原政治舞台上的一个重要部族。文章推测篾儿乞部名可能与篾儿干(蒙古语"神射手")一词同源,并将元代史料中所见"灭乞里"与篾儿乞勘同,通过梳理篾儿乞部的历史源流,探讨蒙古帝国时代部族政治格局变迁的历史进程。Merkit was an important tribe in central Eurasia during the Mongol empire. This paper presumes that the name Merkit had the same etymology with Mergen( marksman in Mongolian).This paper also intends to identify Mie qi li( 灭乞里) in historical resources of Yuan dynasty as Merkit,and lists similar examples reflecting the phenomenon of consonant reversal in Mongolian language. In conclusion,through researching historical origins of Merkit,this paper discusses thechanges of tribal political structure in Mongol period.
