摘  要:基于中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)2010年的数据,从微观层面实证研究了互联网对农村地区家庭创业的影响。研究发现,互联网的使用对农村家庭的创业意愿有显著的促进作用。平均而言,上网的农村家庭比不上网家庭的创业概率高出5.5%。同时,网络还显著提高了农村家庭的创业收入,这些正向影响在纠正了内生性问题后依然存在。分组结果表明,网络使用对农村地区家庭和户主年龄在40岁以下家庭的创业意愿具有更强的促进作用。机制分析也表明,网络便利了农村地区的社会交往和信息获取。这表明,积极推动农村互联网建设,使实体经济和互联网经济产生叠加作用,可以缩小城乡鸿沟,推动智慧农村建设。Using 2010 Data from China Family Panel Studies (CFPS), this paper empirically investigates the effects of internet usage on household entrepreneurship in rural areas. Empirical results show that internet usage promotes households' intention to become entrepreneurs. On average, households with internet usage are 5.5 % more likely to become entrepreneurs than those without. In- ternet usage also raises entrepreneurs' income. These positive effects remain after endogeneity prob- lem is addressed. The effects of internet usage on entrepreneurship are more pronounced for house- holds living in rural areas and under 40. Mechanism analysis reveals that the positive effects of internet on entrepreneurship stem from facilitating social interactions and acquisition of information. The policy implication of this paper is that raising the coverage of internet, especially filling the "digital gap" between urban and rural areas, can effectively stimulate mass entrepreneurship.
