摘 要:慢波系统是真空电子器件进行注-波互作用激发微波能量的核心,它的性能优劣直接影响了真空电子器件的技术水平,为了解决太赫兹波段所面临的频带窄、互作用效率低等问题,本文将太赫兹波段光子晶体矩形栅慢波结构的耦合阻抗和色散特性,与传统矩形栅慢波结构的相关参数进行了对比,并分析了太赫兹波段光子晶体矩形栅慢波结构的晶格常数、光子晶体柱半径、光子晶体柱与矩形栅之间的距离等结构参数对于"冷参数"的影响。结果表明:具有光子晶体的慢波结构,带宽更宽、色散更弱、耦合阻抗更大;调整结构参数后的数据为光子晶体矩形栅慢波系统的结构设计和参数优化提供了良好的依据。The properties, of the THz rectangular slow-wave structure (SWS) with a 2-D metal photonic crystal (PhC) grating, were mathematically modeled, theoretically analyzed and numerically simulated and tested with soft- ware CST MWS, to widen the bandwidth and enhance the beam-wave interaction efficiency. The influence of the Ph- Cproperties, including but not limited to the lattice constant, band structure, column radius, separation of column and rectangular-gate, on the cold-test characteristics was investigated. The simulated and tested results show that the op- timized PhC grating significantly improves the stability of the vacuum electron devices because of its high selectivity of electromagnetic waves. For example, the novel SWS with a PhC-grating considerably outperforms the conventional SWS because of a wider bandwidth, a weaker dispersion and a larger coupling impedance. We suggest that the simu- lated results be of some technological interest in design optimization of THz rectangular SWS with a PhC grating.
