摘　　要：数值天气预报出现是大气科学发展的一个里程碑,也是近代大气科学成为一门精细和定量化科学的一个标志.对其发展阶段和演进过程进行研究和分析,特别指出了20世纪数值天气预报演进中几次重大的原始创新成就.通过阐述数值预报的演进和历史,说明其他交叉学科成果对数值天气预报发展的推动作用,促使20世纪数值天气预报成为复杂的多学科交融的新学科,并进一步演变成更复杂的气候模式系统,其中基础科学与地球观测系统及高性能计算技术的发展起着关键作用.Numerical weather prediction was a milestone in the development of atmospheric science,and it was considered as fine and quantitative symbol of Modern Atmospheric Science.The article studied a number of important original innovations during numerical weather prediction evolution process in the 20 th century.And the paper made a detailed explanation of the main train of interdisciplinary development of numerical forecasting.At the same time,the manuscript presented the discipline development evolution history,which has lead to cross discipline promoting and further evolved into a more complex climate model system in the 20 th century.And pure science,earth observation system and computing technology development were the necessary key technologies in the whole process.
