The Sites of the Late Neolithic Age and the Shang and Zhou Dynasties in Zhao'an and Pinghe Counties

摘　　要：为配合沈海高速公路复线漳州段工程建设，漳州市文物管理委员会办公室于2010年6月对漳州境内公路沿线进行全面调查，发现诏安县官陂镇乾岗、平和县安厚镇钟铜山和山格镇牛路头等三处遗址（图一）。In May and June 2011, Archaeology Teaching and Research Section, Department of History of Xiamen University and other institutions conducted rescue excavations to the Qiangang Site in Zhao＇ an County, Zhongtongshan and Niulutou Sites in Pinghe County, all in Fujian Province. At Qiangang Site, a burial of Neolithic Age was excavated; at Zhongtongshan and Niulutou Sites, four burials and one ash pit of the Shang and Zhou Dynasties were recovered. The artifacts unearthed from the burials were all pottery wares, the forms of which were vase, jar, zun-vessel, dou-stemmed bowl, bowl, etc.; most of them were made of hard fine clay gray pottery, and a few of them were made of sandy pottery, and usually dark brown color glazed. Most of the pottery wares were ring-footed wares, with a few flat-bottomed and round-bottomed ones, but tripods were absent. The artifacts unearthed from the cultural layers were mainly stone adzes. The excavations of these three sites provided important materials for the studies on the regional types of the Fubin Culture and the cultural communications in southern Fujian.
