An ERPs Approach to Covert Nonnative-likeness in FL Learners' Use of FL:from the Perspective of the Linguistic Conceptual Competence Hypothesis

摘  要:语言概念能力假设认为,一切不地道的外语使用都与学习者外语概念能力发展不足而其母语概念能力十分强大有关。立足于这一假设,从域映现概念子能力出发,本研究开展了两项脑电(ERPs)实验,结果表明:(1)学习者确实倾向于按照母语的域映现方式来概念化目标经验,其母语域映现概念子能力是隐性不地道现象发生的重要源头;(2)ERPs是探讨隐性不地道现象的一种优势独特的手段。The Linguistic Conceptual Competence(LCC) Hypothesis holds that any sort of covert nonnative-like use of FL can be traced to the asymmetry between the learners' weak FL LCC and their strong NL LCC. Grounded on the LCC Hypothesis,focusing on the domain-mapping sub-CC,two ERPs experiments were conducted to investigate the learner's of covert nonnative-like FL use. The results of two experiments converged to show that:(1) FL learners tend to conceptualize the target experience by resorting to their NL-like domain-mapping mode,suggesting that the learners' NL domain-mapping sub-CC is held responsible for the learner 's of covert nonnative-like FL use;(2) ERPs provides an effective and advantageous means to probe into the learners' covert nonnative-like FL use.
