摘　　要：简述了传统上Midrex工艺对球团矿的严格要求,介绍了质量稍差的球团用于Midrex工艺进行工业生产的可行性和经济性,以及以高炉用球团生产合格热压块(HBI)的可行性;同时阐述了Midrex以焦炉煤气为还原气源的技术现状,包括焦炉煤气用于Midrex的可行性,以及焦炉煤气大量用于Midrex的新技术。The traditional strict requirements of Midrex process for pellets were introduced briefly, the feasibility and and e- conomy of using low grade pellets for Midrex commercial production were presented, and the feasibility of using pellets for BF to produce qualified HBI （hot briquetted iron） was also given. The present situation of Midrex production technology using COG as the reducing gas resource was illustrated, including the feasibility of using COG in Midrex process, and new technology of using large number of COG for Midrex production.
