摘　　要：外文期刊利用率低是各馆的通病,其根本原因就是语言障碍,把外文期刊变成国语版外文期刊才是问题的关键。如何把外文期刊变成国语版期刊,关键是要在外文期刊的编辑出版环节上下工夫,另外借助于智能翻译软件进行外文期刊语种的转换也是一种有效的途径。如果消除了读者利用外文期刊的语言难关,外文期刊就会深受读者欢迎,利用率将大幅度提高。Low utilization ratio of foreign journals is a common disease in the libraries due to the language barrier, and con vetting foreign journals to Chinese version should be a effective solution, which need pay more attention to the editing and publication links and apply the Intelligent translation software to conduct language conversion. While the language barrier is overcome, foreign journal will be welcome by readers with a increasing utilization ratio.
