摘　　要：湖北光敏感核不育水稻的发现对水稻杂种优势利用意义重大,湖北省为两系杂交稻的发源地,在研究上取得了很多成果,最早探明了育性转换机理,选育了一系列两系杂交稻,对这些成果进行了总结,对湖北省杂交稻育种的发展进行了分析与展望。Discovery of ＂Hubei HPGMR＂ in rice is of great significance in the utilization of heterosis. Hubei province is the birthplace of two-line hybrid rice with a lot of research achievements such as finding the fertility conversion mechanism and breeding of a series of two-line hybrid rice varieties. The development of hybrid rice breeding in Hubei province was prospected.
