Objective To investigate the status of postoperative posttraumatic growth in patients after heart transplantation, and to analyze the influencing factors. Methods By convenience sampling, 70 cases were selected and investigated by using posttraumatic growth inventory (PTGI) , and the results were analyzed. Results The total score of PTGI was (64.77±17.53).The dimension scores of the relationships with others, new possibilities, personal strength, the dimension of spiritual change and appreciation of life were (17.57±5.08), (9.20±2.92), (12.96±3.62), (9.21±3.37), (15.83±5.15), respectively.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that professional (t =- 2.46, P = 0.02), exercise (t = 2.43, P = 0.02) and time after operation and returning to work (t =- 2.11 ,P =0.04) were the influencing factors of PTGI. Conclusions Patients had a certain level of postoperative posttraumatic growth after heart transplantation. Clinical medical staffs should focus on the cultivation of positive attitudes of patients, and search for the effective interventional mode, thus to promote the rehabilitation and quality of life of after surgery.
