《肩水金关汉简(贰)》“□陵丞印”考  

A Textual Research of the Words “□Ling Cheng Yin(□陵丞印)” in the Han Dynasty Bamboo and Wooden Slips from Jianshuijinguan(II)

摘　　要：新刊布的《肩水金关汉简(贰)》的73EJT21:370号是一片"削衣",上面共有"□陵丞印"四字,其第一字至今未得释读。通过字形的分析对比、以及同文献资料的参证可知,其第一字当释"菀(菀)"。汉代的菀陵县,文献中又作宛陵和苑陵。此名有两指,一在河南郡,一在丹阳郡。通过对西北屯戍汉简中人员籍贯的分析可知,"(菀)陵丞印"中的"菀(菀)陵"应是河南郡下辖之县。The slip numbered 73EJT21 ： 370 in the newly published Han Dynasty Bamboo and Wooden Slips from Jianshuijinguan （Ⅱ） is a xueyi （a strip of wood with incorrect words cut off） which contains the four words of an official＇s seal, □-ling-cheng-yin （□陵丞印）, the first of which has not yet been interpreted. By analyzing the form of this first character and referring to its use in this document, it can be inferred that the first word is likely 菀 （菀, yuan）. The county ofYuanling （菀陵） in the Han dynasty was also written a ＂菀陵＂ or ＂菀陵＂ and there are two places in China that match this name ： one is in He＇ nan Prefecture, the other is in Danyang Prefecture. By analyzing the birthplaces of northwest garrison people mentioned in the bamboo slips, it can be determined that the Yuanling in the four words ＂□-ling-cheng-yin＂ refers to the one in He＇ nan prefecture.
