摘 要:中国社会中公私关系的结构性特征,使得宗教信仰方式具有私人性与公共性表达的双重性。其私人化的体现,仅只是因为公共化表达方式所需条件的不足而不得不局限于私人层面;而在宗教本身所包含的公共性层面则因制度支持的缺失,未能在公共领域中建构公共性的信仰方式。这就构成了欧洲社会中因为宗教的多元化所导致的那种私人化信仰方式的基本差异。民间信仰与基督教分别所具有的私人性、公共性及其二者之间的相互转换,表明了公私关系界定模糊的社会结构对于这两种信仰方式的深刻影响。The structural characteristics of public-private relations in Chinese society have resulted in the duality in the way of religious belief:privacy and publicity. The privatization is the result of insufficiency in the provision of public reli- gious expression that confines it to private conditions. The public aspects of religion failed to construct a public way of belief due to the absence of institutional support. These elements had caused the basic differences of private way of belief due to religious pluralism in Europe. Folk belief and Christianity have privacy, publicity, and mutual conversion, which indicates that the blurred boundary between the public and the private in social structure has profoundly affected these two ways of be- lief.
