摘　　要：文章以系统功能语言学的语法隐喻理论为框架,以小说《八月之光》中的概念隐喻为研究对象,讨论概念隐喻在小说中的修辞效果。研究发现,概念隐喻在词汇和句法两个层面实现作品的多样和创新的经验体现,在文学效果上有助于小说主题的实现。Based on grammatical metaphor of systemic-functional linguistics, this thesis studies the rhetorical effects of ideational metaphors in Light in August. It finds that in lexical and syntactic strata, ideational metaphors realize multiple and innovative experience and help with the theme of the novel.
