失忆之殇与重塑之旅：论《洛安娜女王的神秘火焰》中埃科的符号叙事

摘　　要：埃科的小说,是埃科将其符号学理论付诸实践的文学案例,他的每一部小说都以蕴含丰富意义的符号展开文本的叙事。《洛安娜女王的神秘火焰》是埃科运用符号进行文本叙事,阐释其符号学理论的典型案例。围绕主人公亚伯这个失忆症患者,埃科生动地展现了20世纪30—40年代意大利人民的生活文化以及反法西斯运动的情景。本文通过聚焦小说中埃科的符号叙事,探讨埃科是如何通过亚伯失去记忆、寻找记忆与恢复记忆三个层面,实现文本符号系统的形成、符号阐释系统的运作,以及符号意义系统的生成。同时考察埃科进行符号叙事的动机,以及其历史观与文学观的体现。Umberto Eco＇s novels exemplify how he puts his semiotic theory into practice,each weaving a narrative with signs that contain rich meanings.The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana,in particular,showcases his expertise in this wise.Centering on the life of Yambo Bodoni,an amnesiac,the novel represents Italian people＇s cultural life and anti-fascist movement in the 1930 s and 1940 s.This paper examines Eco＇s semiotic narrative to discuss how he builds a sign system,operates an interpretation system and generates a semantic system in the novel through Yambo＇s losing,seeking and restoring of memory.The paper also examines the motive of Eco＇s semiotic narrative and his view of history and literature.
