摘　　要：尤金·奥尼尔作为美国戏剧的奠基人,在其众多作品中塑造了不同的女性形象,她们都呈现出奥尼尔式的悲剧特色。本文试图通过对其两部剧作《月照不幸人》和《长日入夜行》中女主角乔茜与玛丽的分析比较揭示奥尼尔女性观及其人物共性并试图追本溯源寻求其女性观的渊源。Eugene O＇Neill as the founder of American drama,in many of his works,shaped the different images of women,they all showing the characteristics of O＇Neill＇s tragedy. T.his paper attempts to analyze the two heroines Josie and Mary of ＂A Moon for the Misbegotten＂ and ＂Long Day＇s Journey into Night＂ the two plays,and reveal O＇Neill＇s view of women and common characters,trying to trace the origin of feminism.
