摘 要:中华人民共和国成立以后,湖北省农业经济增长成就颇为突出,但是,无论是建国初期以土地、劳动力投入为主的传统增长方式,还是改革开放后以资本、技术投入为主的现代增长方式,农业经济增长的背后都对环境产生了巨大的负面效应。借助于环境库兹涅茨曲线来探究农业污染与经济发展的关系,我们发现湖北省的环境状况符合经典的环境库兹涅茨曲线的倒U型关系,目前农业污染状况已经趋近于转折期,但离污染的拐点仍有较大距离,未来几年甚至十几年农业发展还是会以牺牲环境为代价,如果不改变农业发展模式、不加强控制和管理污染源,农业对环境的污染将会日趋严重。The agricultural economy in Hubei Province has been growing outstandingly after the founding of PRC, but the growth itself also has produced a fierce backlash against the environment, regardless the growth is land & labor input--oriented traditional mode or cap- ital & technology input--oriented modern mode. After exploring the relationship between e- conomic development and agricultural pollution by means of the Environmental Kuznets Curve, we found out that the environmental situation in Hubei is consistent with the classic inverted U--shaped Environmental Kuznets Curve. At present, agricultural pollution has been close to the turning point, but there is still a long way to go to reach it. The agricul- tural development in the next few years or even decades will still be at the cost of environment. If the agricultural development mode isn't changed, and the pollution sources are not firmly controlled or well managed, the environmental pollution resulted from agricultural growth will become increasingly serious.
