基于会话合作原则下《乞力马扎罗的雪》中人物的对话分析

摘　　要：《乞力马扎罗的雪》是美国作家欧内斯特·米勒尔·海明威的经典小说之一。小说讲述的是一位名叫哈里的作家去非洲旅行时,途中汽车抛锚,皮肤被刺划破,染上坏疽病,等待死亡的过程。小说是由他与海伦之间的对话推动故事的发展。本文正是基于这些人物之间的对话,用Grice的会话合作原则来分析这些人物对话中隐藏的真实含义,以便于更好地理解小说内容与主题。揭示男女主人公内心最真实的感受。＂The Snows of Kilimanjaro＂ is one of the famous novel of American writer Ernest Miller Hemingway. The novel cen-ters on the memories of a writer Harry who is on safari in Mrica. During the journey, the car breaks down. He has come downwith an infected wound from a thorn puncture, and waited for his death. The novel is made up of the conversations of him andhis girlfriend Helen. Just based on these conversations, the essay uses cooperative principle of Grice to analyze the real mean-ing hidden in these conversations. It is helpful to understand the content and theme of the novel and to reveal the true feeling ofHarry and Helen.
