摘 要:分析研究了熔锥型光纤耦合器微米量级下波导结构的光传输特性,利用光束传播法对光功率在光纤间能量分布进行数值模拟,得到了不同拉伸长度下耦合器输出光功率变化规律。以熔融拉锥方法为制作熔锥型光纤耦合器的实验平台,分析了在10mm到35mm拉伸长度范围内耦合器与附加损耗和插入损耗偏差的参数关系;并利用光谱特性测试光纤耦合器的性能参数:插入损耗、附加损耗。理论模拟和实验研究数据发现:拉伸长度在20mm左右时,耦合器的光学性能相对较好,说明该长度下熔锥型耦合器的光学性能稳定良好,并为进一步优化熔锥型光纤耦合器的制作技术和工艺提供有益参考。The Optical transmission characteristics of fused fiber coupler in micron dimension were analyzed. The optical field distribution between two fibers was gotten by numerical simulation with beam propagation method, and then the variation of the output light power of the coupler with different length is obtained. Based on the experimental platform for the production of fused taper fiber coupler, the relationship between the coupling loss and the insertion loss deviation in the 10mm to 35ram stretching length range is analyzed; the performance parameters of the fiber coupler are tested by the spectral characteristics: insertion loss and additional loss. The simulation and experimental results show that the optical performance of fused taper coupler is stable and good during the length is about 20mm, and provide useful reference for further optimization of the production technology and process of fused taper fiber coupler.
