摘　　要：通过对东莞市5所民办高校体育师资基本现状、业务工作及教学环境现状调查分析。结果显示:东莞市民办高校体育教师数量短缺、年龄结构出现"断层"现象、职称结构不合理;教学工作量较大、科研水平低;体育场地设施缺少等问题。针对存在的问题提出相应建议,旨在为东莞市民办高等教育事业的发展提供理论依据。Through the investigation and analysis of the basic situation, business work and teaching environ- ment of the PE teachers of five private universities in Dongguan, the results showed that the number of PE teachers in private universities in Dongguan was shortage, the age structure appeared ＂fault＂ phenomenon, the title structure was irrational; the teaching worldoad was heavy, the level of scientific research was low; the lack of sports facilities and so on. In view of the existing problems, this paper puts forward the corresponding sug- gestions, aiming at providing theoretical basis for the development of private higher education in Dongguan city.
