摘　　要：China is currently experiencing the largest and fastest rate of urbanization in human history. Between 1978 and 2015, China＇s urbanization rate increased from 18% to 56% as its urban population increased from 172 to 770 million. At the same time, the number of cities increased from 193 to more than 650.
