摘　　要：介绍了湖南某水电厂6号机组跳机事故的发生过程及原因,并基于保护动作情况,进一步探讨了该机组配备的2种横差保护的动作特性和缺陷。通过对横差不平衡电流与发电机机端电流的相关性分析和现场试验结果,给出了横差保护的比率制动特性整定方法。The paper analyzes the process and cause of the tripping accident of a certain unit in a hydropower plant, and in terms of the protection actions, explores operating characteristics and defects of two transverse differential protection further. According to correlation analysis between transverse differential unbalance current and generator terminal current , the paper proposes the setting method of transverse differential protection at last.
