摘  要:基于蜂窝的物联网连接由于设备功耗大、部署成本高等劣势,目前在移动网络上承载的物联网连接只占到总数的6%。以NB-IoT(Narrow-Band Internet of Things)为代表的低功耗广域网(Low Power Wide Area,LPWA)具有低成本、广覆盖的特点,在未来低速率物联网业务中扮演着重要角色。文章从标准化进展、频率部署方式等方面对NB-loT技术进行分析,给出中国联通窄带物联网的网络架构和部署方案,为中国联通NB-IoT的内外场测试及商用部署提供参考。Only 6% of the Internet of Things (IoT) connections are carried by cellular mobile network because their IoT devices are higher power consumption and deployment cost. The Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) network, such as Narrow-Band IoT (NB-IoT), will play a very important role in the low-rate IoT applications due to the feature of low power consumption and large coverage range. In this paper, we first introduce the background of IoT, especially for LPWA, then analyze the NB-IoT technology from the aspect of its standardization process and frequency selection strategy, etc., and finally describe the NB- IoT network architecture and deployment scheme of China Unicom. Hope it to provide support for NB-IoT lab, field test and commercial deployment of China Unicorn.
