摘 要:低功耗广域网(Low-Power Wide-Area Network,LPWAN)是当今物联网接入网技术的主要热点之一、相较于传统的移动蜂窝技术(如2G、3G、4G等)和短距离通信技术(如蓝牙、Zigbee等),LPWAN具备低成本、低功耗、广覆盖、大连接的特点,能很好地与物联网应用需求相匹配。文章以分析物联网接入网络需求为起点,讨论LPWAN技术特点以及国内外的发展现状;然后,针对几种当今主流LPWAN技术,包括NB-IoT、LoRaWAN、Weightless、Sigfox,从技术背景和关键技术点等方面分别展开讨论,并综合讨论各技术的性能属性和商业化发展进程;最后,在总结物联网低功耗广域接入技术的同时提出展望。Low-power wide-area network technology is one of the hot topic in the field of IoT. Generally, neither the conventional cellular network (e.g. 2G3G 4G etc.) nor the short-range communication network (e.g. Bluetooth Zigbee etc.) is suited for IoT applications concerning the cost and coverage. LPWAN technology is specifically designed to provide communication services with low costlow power consumption and large coverage.This paper firstly discusses features and current situation at home and abroad of LPWAN technology via analyzing requirements of the access network of IoT. Then, the paper briefly discusses the background and key technical points of four popular LPWAN technologies, including NB-IoTLoRaWAN Weightless and Sigfox, respectively. Furthermore, the performance and the commercial operation of networks associated with various LPWAN technologies are discussed as well. Finally, a brief conclusion of LPWAN technology is provided.
