摘  要:关键符号是一个族群共享的文化内涵,也就是一个族群的族群文化。少数民族语言文字是一个族群关键符号的重要表现形式,民语媒体是其主要承载者。维吾尔传统文化在全球化和媒介文化的冲击下出现式微,有的文化形式已经消逝,族群文化认同出现断裂。维吾尔语媒体作为族群文化的粘合剂,促进了维吾尔文化复兴:其一,发掘本土传统文化形式,并解读其蕴含的意义与价值;其二,展现当下本地人生活。由于地方社会背景,经济发展水平等限制,维吾尔语大众媒体在传播维吾尔文化方面尚存在不足:其一,维汉双语人才缺乏致使媒体跨语言传播障碍;其二,新疆社会现实的复杂与多面性限制了地方媒体的创新,媒体在业务操作方面惯常将文化生活刻板化与政治化。Key symbols are the culture connotation shared by an ethnic group, hence an ethnic culture. While the verbal and written language of ethnic minorities is the essential manifestation of key symbols, Uyghur media are these symbols' main carriers. Influenced by globalization and media culture, the Uyghur traditional culture has seen its declination: some forms have vanished and some culture identities have been broken. Adhering to an ethnic culture, Uygur local media have played an important role in the revival of Uygur culture. First, they help to discover the local traditional cultures and interpret their significance and values. Second, they help to display the local life. However, due to the limitation of economic and social development, Uygur mass media experience difficulties in transmitting Uyghur culture. First of all, the shortage of Uyghur-Chinese bilingual personnel leads to the difficulty in trans-lingual communication. Secondly, the social complexity and multidimensionality in Uyghur areas restrain local media's innovation and the local media usually stereotype and politicalize the local culture and life.
