摘　　要：以提升当前理想信念教育实效为目的,从一般层面上探讨了理想信念教育对重塑中国精神、完成党的历史任务和推动人类文明进步所具有的重大现实意义;阐述了毛泽东关于理想信念教育的哲学基础,即历史唯物主义和辩证唯物主义,它使理想信念教育思想具有科学性和实践性;指出了共产主义理想信念教育既要坚持以理服人,也要坚持以情动人,是科学性和人民性的统一;分析了毛泽东关于理想信念教育的思想在新媒体时代具有的重要时代价值。This paper aims to improve the effectiveness of the current ideal and faith education. From the general level, the paper discusses the significance of the ideal and belief education in the reconstruction of Chinese spirit, and the historical mission of the party and the promotion of human civilization. This paper also expounds the philosophical foundation of Mao Zedong＇s ideal and be- lief education, which is historical materialism and dialectical materialism. The communist ideal and belief education should not only insist on serving people with theory, but also insist on using emo- tion to infect people, which is the unity of science and people. At last, this paper analyzes the im- portance times value of Mao Zedong＇s ideal and belief education in the new media era.
