摘　　要：白语的一个紧调类在不同方言中有降调和升调两种不同表现形式,实验语音学分析显示降调伴随嘎裂声,升调伴随喉塞尾。作者认为此类特征是在浊声母清化的过程中产生的。This article re-examines a tense-tone category in the Bai language, using the experimental phonetic approach. In different Bai dialects, this tense tone category can be realized either as a rising tone or a falling tone. The experiments show that the rising tone correlates with glottal stop ending, while the falling tone correlates with creaky voice. These two phonation types not only lead to a distinction in pitch, but also are two strategies of realizing the ＇tense＇ feature, a consequence of initial devoicing in the Bai language.
