摘　　要：中国与澳大利亚科技合作历史源远流长,近年来国家自然科学基金在推动中澳基础研究合作方面付诸了积极的努力和实践,取得了重要进展。本文旨在对近期国家自然科学基金对澳大利亚合作取得进展和成果作了梳理和总结,并对双方深化下一步合作进行了思考,提出相关政策建议。There has been a long history of scientific and technological cooperation between China and Australia. National Natural Science Foundation of China （NSFC） has been taking great efforts in promoting collaboration with Australian partners in basic sciences and has achieved great advances in recent years. Based on an overview and analysis of recent progresses and achievements obtained in NSFC-Australia cooperation, this paper presents some policy advice on expanding the NS- FC-Australia collaboration in basic research in the future.
