摘 要:韦伯通过对新教倡导和奉行的"天职"观、"预定论"、苦行主义的"理解"和伦理学阐发,把资本主义"理性"精神抽象为"理想类型",并设置了"韦伯命题"。但韦伯"新教伦理"的核心意涵并非通常所认为的那样是对"新教伦理"与西方资本主义兴起的亲和性关系论证,而是为韦伯心目中的资本主义"财富伦理"的神圣化和理性化进行辩护和诊断。只不过韦伯"理想类型"的资本主义财富伦理随着资本主义社会财富的积聚集中而翻转,陷入"工具理性"的"铁笼",遭遇意义的失落。因此,发掘并揭示"新教伦理"的财富伦理实质,不仅对正确合理理解韦伯的思想有重要意义,而且对建构现代中国语境中合理形态的财富伦理颇有启发。Through elucidating the conception of Worldly Asceticism advocated by The Protestant, Weber the calling, the doctrine of predestination and the put the spirit of Capitalism as the most ideal model and constructed the Themes of Weber. It has been always thought that the core thesis of Weber's Protestant Ethic is its affinity with the rising of western Capitalism. In fact, it is not the case. Weber just wants to justify the sanctification and rationalization of the Capitalist Wealth Ethic. But with the wealth accumulating in the capitalist society, the ideal model of the Capitalist Wealth Ethic goes in to its opposite, and loses the meaning of Weber's expectations. So, it is meaningful to explore and discover the substance of Protestant Wealth Ethic, which help not only to understand Weber better, but to construct a rational wealth ethic in Chinese context.
