《潜水鸟》的福柯式解读

摘　　要：《潜水鸟》的女主人公皮格特身为印第安少数族裔一直以来饱受性别压迫和种族歧视,不仅在代表父权制社会的家中丧失了话语权,而且在加拿大主流文化话语权的制约下,也不能自由发声。虽然皮格特不愿意屈服于话语权力威慑的作用,试图通过嫁给一位白人男性进而融入到主流文化之中,但还是受制于加拿大主流文化话语权力,最终不得不以葬身火海的方式表达对社会的控诉。The heroine Piquette in ＂The Loons＂, as an Indian minority, always suffers from gender oppression and racial discrimination. She loses power of discourse both in her family under the control of patriarchy and in the society under the control of Canadian mainstream culture. Although she tries to integrate herself into the mainstream culture by marrying a white man, unfortunately, she is still subject to the constraints of the mainstream culture, finally, she has to express her fury by setting herself in the flames.
