摘　　要：本研究主要通过文献资料、电话访谈、实地考察和田野调查,对美国乔治亚州雅典市及相邻几个市的健身休闲状况进行调查,对收集的数据进行分析和处理,归纳该市体育健身休闲发展规律、发展特点,以及可供借鉴的经验,同时与中国体育健身休闲发展相联系,为中国体育健身休闲发展提出可供借鉴的建议。通过调查和研究发现:乔治亚州雅典市的体育健身休闲活动普遍性强、场地充足、与其他活动融合多,非营利机构提供服务多,商业性体育健身休闲服务专业化程度高,非营利机构与产业机构经营内容不冲突。中国可以借鉴该市经验与其他活动相结合提高健身休闲活动的数量和种类,有效激励非盈利机构提供体育健身休闲服务,可以在中国若干县域范围、镇域范围和西部若干地区有效利用当地森林、山脉和河流,实事求是、因地制宜地开发各种健身休闲场地和健身内容。The aim of this survey is to investigate the fitness leisure situations of Athens in Georgia and several neighboring cities of USA by using methods of literature, telephone interviews, field survey and field investigation. Then on the basis of analyzing and processing the collected data, generalizing the city＇s developmental trend, developmental feature of sports fitness leisure as well as some available experience to draw on other areas for reference. Meanwhile, the survey designed to put forward some valuable sugges- tions for development of China sports fitness leisure through linking with the development of China sports fitness leisure. After in- vestigation and research, we find that the city＇s sports fitness leisure activity merged with other activities, which is particularly uni- versal and its＇ athletic field is sufficient. Furthermore, non--profit organizations can provide more services with high specialization degree of commercial sports fitness leisure services. In addition, non--profit organizations do not conflict with the industrial institu- tions＇ scope of operation. In total, China should learn from the city＇s experience and combine with other activities to improve the numbers and types of fitness activities, stimulating non--profit organizations effectively to provide sports fitness and leisure services. Specifically, according to principles of seeking truth from facts and local conditions, China can take advantage of local forests, mountains and rivers in some country areas, town areas and western region areas to develop a variety of fitness leisure fields and fitness content.
