摘　　要：根据历史文献记载和考古文物资料,对中国古代捶丸发展过程中对外传播的历史事实进行探讨。认为:在中国古代捶丸的发展过程中,随着唐宋以降中外陆、水路的畅通,这一具有独特运动规则的球类活动在东亚和欧洲得到了一定程度的传播。伴随捶丸活动在中国明末清初的沉寂,传至东亚地区的捶丸活动也逐渐走向了暗弱;而传至欧洲的捶丸活动,在流行过程中对当地盛行的类似捶丸形式的棒击球产生一定影响,并最终发展成风靡全球的现代高尔夫球。Based on the analysis of historical literature and archeological data, this paper explores the overall historical facts about the Chinese ancient ball - game Chuiwan＇ s spread abroad during its development. The study suggests that this ball game, with special rules, got spread to some extent in East Asia and Europe, along with the water route open at home and abroad since Tang and Song Dynasties. It came to wane later with its decline in late Ming and early Qing Dynasties in China. However, when Chuiwan was spread to Europe and produced influence on the local popular ball game with a bat, which was similar to Chuiwan, it finally evolved into the world -renowned modern golf.
