摘　　要：Biological materials with various outstanding properties have been studied for a long time by investigators.As a kind of natural biological material,sea shells exhibiting the complexity and unique architectures have drawn much attention in recent years.In the present work,Pinctada shell was selected as the target material,and itsBiological materials with various outstanding properties have been studied for a long time by in- vestigators. As a kind of natural biological material, sea shells exhibiting the complexity and unique ar- chitectures have drawn much attention in recent years. In the present work, Pinctada shell was select- ed as the target material, and its microstructures and mechanical properties were characterized by SEM, XRD and three-point bending tests.
