摘 要:为了探索在液体环境下磁流体密封的可行性,本文就水压对磁流体密封寿命的影响进行了研究。理论上推导出由水压引起的两种液体界面圆弧圆心角与界面处剪切力之间关系的解析表达式,设计、安装了密封液体用直立式磁流体密封试验台。在试验台上试验了三种水压下的磁流体密封寿命。理论和试验表明,密封寿命随水压升高而下降。水压为0.15MPa时的密封寿命与水压为0.05 MPa时的密封寿命相比下降明显。对液体环境下磁流体密封具有实用价值。The fluid field at the interface of magnetic fluid and water was mathematically modeled,theoretically analyzed and experimentally evaluated with the lab-built,vertical-type test bench to explore the feasibility of magnetic fluid seal in liquid environment. The influence of the water pressure and shaft's rotation speed on the service lifetime of the magnetic fluid seal was investigated. The calculated results show that the water pressure has a major impact on the service lifetime of magnetic fluid seal. To be specific,as the water pressure increases,from 0. 05 to0. 15 MPa,the service lifetime significantly decreases simply because the deformation and shearing stress at the interface of water and magnetic fluid considerably increase. The calculated and measured results were found to be in good agreement.
