摘　　要：本文第一部分简述了历史唯物主义基本原理的提出和发展过程,着重分析了坚持历史唯物主义基本原理对于避免走历史唯心主义邪路,发展中国特色哲学社会科学,以及巩固和发展中国特色社会主义事业的重要意义。第二部分依据历史唯物主义基本原理和中国经济发展的史实,批判了历史唯心主义观点,系统深入分析了中国古代和近代经济兴衰的历史过程。The paper first makes a brief review of the development of basic principles of historical materialism with a focus on its struggle with historical mentalism and the significance in developing social sciences in China and socialism with Chinese characteristics.Based on basic principles of historical materialism and the history of the economic development of China,the paper studies the deficiencies of historical mentalism and the up-and-downs of economic growth both in ancient and modern times of China.
