摘　　要：图书馆是一个社会文化机构,围绕着知识交往而存在的图书馆及其活动,表面上看是文献信息的物理转移,其实质是人与人之间共存关系内的一种知识文化互动现象,是对人的精神信息的传播。图书馆活动的本质是人,是人际的知识交往。作为文化的图书馆,其核心价值是"以人为本"。文章对图书馆"以人为本"的内涵、内在依据、必要性等作了分析研究。Libraries are social and cultural institutions. Libraries and their activities, centering on knowledge exchange, seem to be physical transfer of literature and information in the surface, but actually reflect knowledge and cultural interaction among people and spread spiritual information of human beings. The essence of library activities is people, and knowledge exchange among people. As the embodiment of culture, libraries stick to the core value of people first. This paper analyses the connotations, internal bases and necessities of this core value of libraries.
