摘　　要：民国成立前的苏中地区报刊事业的肇始具有独特的时空背景,清政府放松舆论控制政策与苏中地区的地理环境是其起步的基础,同时苏中近代报刊事业的发展也为民国成立在江苏的推进提供了舆论基础。民国成立前后的苏中地区报刊作为一种新的传媒,为苏中地区的近代化及民主革命思想的传播创造了条件,也是民国成立后推动苏中地区社会进步的主要精神力量之一。Before the establishment of the Republic of China,newspaper business in the central region of Jiangsu Province started in a special time background.The loose public opinion control by the Qing court and the geographical environment of the central region of Jiangsu Province were its starting point.Meanwhile,the development of modern newspaper business provided a public opinion basis for the operation of the Republic of China in Jiangsu Province after its establishment.Before and after the establishment of the Republic of China,modern newspaper business in the central region of Jiangsu Province,as a new medium,helped to spread modern and democratic revolutionary ideas and was one of the major spiritual powers to promote the social progress in the central region of Jiangsu Province.
